We have a brand new iMac which of course came with iWeb 08. Previously, we had been using the older version of iWeb, so this new change to mobileme from.mac was a hurdle to get over. My main problem now is the hyperlinks. For example, if I want to link to an outside page or a youtube video, I would always just cut and paste the link and activate it as a hyperlink.
But now after publishing, the link doesn't work, because extra characters and gobbledy-gook gets added to the link. If I go into iWeb and look at the link, it looks right, but somehow after publishing it gets weird. Any explanations or solutions? Yes, I am using the URL.
What happens is that I cut and paste the URL (not only for youtube, but for anything I want to link to). I do as I've always done and make whatever word I want into a hyperlink. Everything looks and works fine until I publish. Once I do that, the URL ceases to work, as it is corrupted with additional characters and percent signs added to the URL. If so, did you use the page template nav bar or did you create your own nav bar? If you created your own nav bar instead, did you remember to hyperlink to the pages themselves?
