I recently had issues on my iPhone 5 with apps crashing at startup. Actually it still does it with some apps. However, on there I am able to delete the app and go into App Store download again and it works again.
The iPhone is still on 7.0.3, I think. Now my iPad 2 started doing the same thing.
First I tried deleting app and restarting it. Still crashes at launch.
It shows it running when you check running apps, but even clicking on it in the multi-task list it blinks on then back off. Then I tried closing all apps, resetting iPad. Then I tried to restore from an older backup, and it still fails. The killer for me is the main app I am wanting to use is Onsong which has about 2 years worth of set lists with notes attached. The frustrating thing is some apps work, but a good percentage don't now. It worked two weeks ago, and it was before I upgraded to latest release of iOS 7.
I did that as well and am up to 7.0.4 as of last night, but that didn't fix the problem wither. It was crashing on 7.0.3 before and now 7.0.4. 1) Anyone have any other suggestions on what to try?
2) Is there any way to salvage my Onsong library using iExplorer or something similiar? 3) Anything else? My next step is totally wipe the iPad and start from scratch, but will definitely lose all my song data (mainly the imbedded notes I am worried about as I have the txt files on DropBox) within OnSong.
The other app data I don't really care about. Would it possibly help to wipe it as new and then do a restore to the last backup again? Or would it probably put me in the same place? Right now my only option for this Sunday's set is using my Wife's iPad 2 as the fresh install of OnSong works on hers.
